Rusette
Rusette is the current owner of Bath Theatrical Costume Hire. She lived overseas for much of her life where she owned a number of businesses and gained experience in the hospitality industry where she managed international sales and marketing for a number of hotel chains, including a 5-star Safari Lodge. Founder and Director of a national talent show and music festival, she has always been supportive of the development of young talent in the performing arts. Rusette has a passion for organising events, weddings, and experiences (much like the production of show!) and although not a performer herself, has always had a love for the theatre. She now lives in Bath and since taking the reins from Dinah has introduced a number of exciting products and experiences at Bath Theatrical. She has also seen the creation of a photo studio (Studio 2, the only studio with a 30,000 costume wardrobe attached!) and the introduction of an international film festival.
Natasha
Natasha’s professional career has been in theatre costume backstage, having worked in Southampton’s’ Mayflower Theatre, Winchester Theatre Royal as well as on the West End. She has worked on many of our favourite shows including The Lion King, Dreamgirls, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and many more! Natasha has been sewing and making costumes for over 10 years and is hoping to add many new makes to our Regency section so keep an eye on our catalogue!
As well as being creative and able to put together fantastic outfits, she has managed to learn her way around the wardrobe very quickly since joining in 2022, and best of all, round up the rest of us butterflies! Born and brought up in the West Country she is happy to be back in her native county working at Bath Theatrical. The best of both worlds. When she is not at the wardrobe you may find her and her husband hiking up a mountain with their spaniel.
meg
Meg first joined Bath Theatrical on work experience – and simply never left! After graduating from Bath Spa University in 2024 with a degree in Theatre, Festival and Event Production, she stepped into a full time role and has been part of the team ever since. With a passion for costume design, she focused much of her studies on creating and assembling costumes, and now enjoys bringing that creativity to a wide range of productions, events and clients at Bath Theatrical. Alongside this Meg runs the Social Media accounts, sharing behind the scenes and new creations. When she’s not putting costumes together, you will likely find Meg persuading the team to be in a TikTok. Outside of the wardrobe she loves to dance, regularly performing in shows and enjoys visiting her family in Wales for walks along the beach.
Katya
We were lucky to be introduced to Kateryna and her fantastic sewing skills by a client of ours. She has been the master behind many of our new Regency costumes. She tells us that since childhood, she’s been sewing, starting with sewing clothes for her doll and then later, sewing clothes for herself. She left a thriving business back home where she was making and selling high fashion outfits and coats. Katya has always loved creating, giving new life to old clothes, upcycling and recycling. She takes her skills beyond the sewing machine where she creates new things out of old furniture. Since being here, she has developed her love for digital illustration and claims if she isn’t creating or inventing anything, her life slows down!

Sylvia

Aga
wardrobe assistant
Sylvia
Although now retired, Sylvia continues to support Bath Theatrical and often helps out during busy spells. Sylvia joined Bath Theatrical back in 2005. Since her daughters were little, Sylvia made their clothes and fancy dress costumes. Now a grandmother of 6, she continues to create for them all, and gratefully, for us! She ran a nursery shop in Wilton for 15 years fixing prams and selling infant clothes. During that time, she also made props and bits and pieces for local amateur dramatic groups.
Known for her creative flair and being able to make marvels out of anything, she is the reason we never throw anything away. After all … “There are always treasures to be found in crapanza”!!
Sylvia has made much of our stock including our Beauty & the Beast and Shrek set!
Aga
Aga joined Bath Theatrical on a post graduate work experience programme from Bath Spa University in 2025. If you don’t find her in Bath Theatrical’s studio dressing mannequins and photographing costumes, she’ll be assisting with putting costumes together for productions or dressing individuals who have made an appointment for the bespoke costuming service. She has an excellent eye for dressing people and characters. You might also find her in COS where she is employed as a personal dresser.
