We offer a bespoke service where our team will select all of the costumes that you require using your cast measurements and a costume brief. We also have a self service option where you and your team can come and select the costumes yourself for a discounted rate.
Hire Period – 12 Days. Additional weeks hire is available upon request.
Prices – Start from £20-60 for self service and from £60 for our bespoke service. Prices exclude VAT.
If you’re an individual, group or business, we offer a bespoke service where we select the costume(s) for you. Whether you’re heading to Goodwood, a party or you’re hosting an event, we’ll have something for you! Just send us your measurements along with what you’re looking for and we’ll have something ready for you to come and try on or ready to post or deliver to you. You can also visit our wardrobe and select the costume yourself (don’t worry, our team will be on hand to help!).
Hire period -7 days. Additional days or weeks hire is available if required.
Prices – Start from £60 per full costume which includes all accessories that are deemed essential to complete the costume.
Our fancy dress section is self service only. We have a range of ‘ready to go’ costumes (click here for our catalogue) or you can browse through our wardrobe to create your own costume.
Hire Period – 7 days. Additional days or weeks hire is available if required.
Prices- £20-£60 plus VAT
Basic and small alterations are included in the Bespoke hire price. Any alteration that is more comprehensive will be subject to an additional charge.
Self service costumes must be returned clean (instructions provided). Bespoke costumes include cleaning though we would greatly appreciate machine washable items to be returned washed.
Additional charges will apply for items that require more substantial cleaning or dry cleaning once returned to us.
We have a minimum hire charge of £20 plus VAT
Charges also apply for :
Additional cleaning (see above)
Late returns
Loss of items/costumes
Damage to items/costumes
Delivery (if applicable)

Yes, we deliver!
We can deliver costumes to your business or accommodation for an additional fee. If you’re local, we can deliver in person or if you’re outside of our 10 mile radius we can deliver the costumes using a courier (we use DPD). If you have a large amount of costumes ordered, we can arrange van hire to deliver these to you in person. Delivery quote available upon request.
We offer work experience year round and can accept 2 students at a time. If you’re interested in work experience at Bath Theatrical Costume Hire you can send an email along with your CV to enquiries@baththeatrical.com and someone will be in touch as soon as possible.
We’re a small team of just 4 people so we rarely find ourselves looking to hire. If we do have any available opportunities, we will post about this on our social media sites.
We greatly appreciate donations however there are certain items that we cannot accept:
Furs
Shoes & Boots (unless they are in immaculate condition)
Small sized Military uniforms (with the exception of women’s uniforms)
Any items that are spoiled, damaged or need dry cleaning
